To be a community that loves and glorifies the Triune God, who is edified biblically, and who makes new disciples in the city and in the world.
To achieve our vision, our church will encourage the fraternal communion, and the discipleship that impels us to live for the glory of God; it will encourage education and biblical-theological reflection that will inspire us to build the church itself, and to evangelize the world in faithfulness, by fulfilling the Great Commission (Mathew 28: 18-20).
The Distinctive Character of Hosanna
The distinctive character of Hosanna should consist in always seeking to reform itself in the light of the Scriptures; be committed to the historic standards of Westminster, the Book of Church Order, and the encourage the life of prayer and biblical worship, both public and private.
Hosanna must be fully committed to the Great Commission established in Mathew 28: 18-20. It must be committed to the freedom of each member, so that they minister according to their gifts in a responsible manner to God, the local church, and to the world.
Hosanna must commit to make a dynamic and prophetic confrontation about the forms of non-Christian thought and behavior; demonstrate the truth through the practice of holiness and communion in Christian love. We must be committed to protect and strengthen the family, and minister in favor of those families broken by problems such as divorce and widowhood; and to help single parents through mercy and service ministries.
Hosanna vows to be faithful to the scriptures, to the reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
